Jessica Rose I received a Philips Sonicare 2100 Series toothbrush from my dentist a few weeks ago, and since have been using it as my primary toothbrush. During this time I have been pleasantly surprised at how it performs. I have to admit, at first I was skeptical as I had been using Oral B Pro’s electric toothbrush for a couple years, and had no complaints. In fact, getting a new toothbrush wasn’t even on my radar. However, my first impression right from the first “brush”, was how gentle it is. The Philips Sonicare 2100 Series toothbrush uses sonic technology that promises to loosen and remove up to 3x more plaque removal than a manual toothbrush. After brushing, my teeth felt so fresh and clean, it actually shocked me considering how gentle it is! Although, while I am pleased overall, there are some things I feel it is lacking, so I will share with you my “pros” and “cons” list.

Overall, considering it’s modest price point I think this toothbrush offers great value. My biggest complaint is the short battery life and long charging time. However, that can be managed by charging it in the evening before bed so it is ready again for the morning.
